Utrecht Excellence Scholarships
Utrecht University is one of the top research universities in Europe, known for its excellent education and creative teaching methods. It offers Utrecht Excellence Scholarships for international students who want to study for a Master’s degree. These scholarships cover the full length of the Master’s program, which can be one or two years long. Each year, Utrecht University gives out 20 to 25 scholarships to international students. If you do well in your studies, you can renew the scholarship for the second year.

Eligibility criteria:
To qualify for a Utrecht Excellence Scholarship, you must:
- Be in the top 10% of your graduating class.
- Not holding an EU/EEA passport.
- Must not be eligible for Dutch study grants and loans.
- Have completed your secondary school or bachelor’s degree outside the Netherlands.
Benefits:
- The tuition fee is covered under this scholarship.
- The tuition fee plus the required income for one year, is determined by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).

NL Scholarship
These scholarships are awarded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. These scholarships are designed for those students who belong outside of the EU and wish to study in Holland.
There are four scholarships per faculty available at Delft University of Technology. These scholarships must be awarded to those students who wish to pursue a master’s degree at Delft University of Technology and who have not received their bachelor’s degree in Holland.

Benefits
- A sum of € 5.000 in the first academic year for non-EEA students will be awarded.
- An applicant can be awarded multiple NL Scholarships, based on merit, to a maximum of 3 (€15.000).
