Heinrich Boll Foundation
The Heinrich Boll Foundation offers a fully paid scholarship program. Each year, they give about 1500 scholarships in Germany to excellent students at all levels – bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD. You can study any subject at German universities with this scholarship. All major German universities are part of this program. Both international and German students who need money for their studies can apply. The scholarship pays for:
- Tuition fees
- Monthly living money
- Health insurance
- Housing costs
Field of study:
The participating German universities offer all academic fields in undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD degree programs.
Benefits of the Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarship:
For Undergraduate Students:
- Bachelors / Undergraduate and Graduate students will get a maximum of €812 and €300 book allowance per month.
- A family allowance will be given.
- Health insurance will also be given.
Masters Students:
- For non-Eu students, an allowance of €934 will be given to cover the cost of accommodation and study material.
- For EU nationals €812 and €300 book allowance per month.
- A family allowance will be given.
- Health insurance will also be given.
PhD Students:
- For non-Eu students, an allowance of €1200 along with €100 will be given to cover the cost of accommodation and study material.
- EU students of €1350 along with €100 will be given to cover the cost of accommodation and study material.
- A family allowance will be given.

Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarship in Germany
Students from Asia, Africa, and Latin America are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. You can choose any subject for your studies. Scholarships are given to students who perform well academically. Each year, up to 40 students receive this support. This scholarship is available for those who want to pursue a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD at German universities or technical colleges.
Field of study:
All academic fields and majors are available to pursue Diploma, Bachelors, and Masters Degree programs in German universities.
Eligibility criteria:
The following are the eligibility criteria for this scholarship.
- Students must know the German language.
- Students must be enrolled in any German university or college.
- Students must have outstanding academic backgrounds.

Below are the benefits of Friedrich Ebert’s scholarship.
- This scholarship covers the full tuition fee.
- There are 40 scholarships that will be offered.
- A monthly stipend of 830 EUR for Undergraduates and 850 EUR for Masters will be given to the successful applicant.
- Travel allowance will be given to the successful applicant.
- Health insurance will be given to the successful applicant.
- Students with a child will receive 276 EUR per month for child support.
